Port Aransas


Port Aransas is a city located on Mustang Island, Texas, United States. It is situated along the Gulf of Mexico, and is a popular tourist destination known for its beaches, fishing, and water sports. The city is also home to the University of Texas Marine Science Institute and the Port Aransas Nature Preserve, which offers opportunities for bird-watching and wildlife viewing. The population of Port Aransas is around 4,000 people. Access to the city is by ferry from the mainland, or by drive over the JFK causeway. The city has a variety of restaurants, bars, and shops, as well as many vacation rental properties. Port Aransas is also a great spot for kiteboarding, windsurfing and stand up paddleboarding, as well as fishing and boating.
