Description
The Erawan Shrine (or Shrine of the Four-Faced Brahma) at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, was built in 1984 and is a replica of the original in Bangkok, Thailand. It was donated by newspaper tycoons Mr. and Mrs. Kamphol Vacharaphol and Mr. Yip Hon, a prominent figure in Hong Kong and is considered a Hindu holy site. Visitors express gratitude for wishes granted by offering flowers, incense, money (which Caesars donates to charities in Thailand) or by placing small wooden elephants upon the shrine.
