USS Texas (BB-35)—the last remaining World War I-era dreadnought battleship—at her former berth at the San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site near Houston. After years of deterioration as a museum ship, she was moved to drydock in Galveston in 2022 for major hull and structural repairs. In 2024, she left drydock to continue restoration and will make her new permanent home at Pier 15 in Galveston.
